Brides and grooms to be can get a jump on wedding planning at a long-time Quad Cities bridal expo.

The Jaycees Wedding Expo has been helping Quad City couples plan their weddings for 39 years and helps couples experience the best the area’s wedding industry has to offer. Couples can find exclusive discounts, as well as ensure their personalities connect with those of the vendor.

The Jaycees of the Quad Cities’ Wedding Expo is Saturday, January 27 at the River Center, 136 E. Third Street in Davenport. The expo has two sessions, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. Over 115 vendors will be on site, including caterers, florists, photographers and DJs. Visitors can compare their options and make informed decisions for their wedding days with interactive displays, demonstrations and vendor samples.

The Jaycees of the Quad Cities Wedding Expo has grown over the years, from about 20 vendors in 1985 to over 115 vendors and over 1,000 expected attendees in 2024. All proceeds from the event go towards local organizations and community projects, including the Jaycees Santa Program, which helps provide gifts for over 50 area underprivileged children, teenagers and adults. The group has donated over $800,000 of Wedding Expo proceeds to help local causes over the years.
